Q.
My girl baby is two years now and caught cold running nose, after that she has muscus.. but that is not coming out... every night she will face problem while sleeping, she cannot breathe through nose so keeps her mouth open... she is not having any congestion in chest... only in throat .pls advise

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor after the exact cause is diagnosed.
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syrup should be given only after a proper evaluation according to the type of cough self medication may not be so he*lpful so please consult your doctor once.
