Q.

My girl baby is 44 days old. Is it safe to take COVID vaccination when I am breastfeeding.Is vaccine harmful for my baby.

A. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely . According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app. Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol . Presently children are not included in this list. Mothers can rfeed their child uas soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child

A. You Actually should wait for another 5 to 6 months because your child is too small to bear the side effects of vaccination which you will have like body pains when everything and your child will also face it because of the same so I would advise that wait for these 5 to 6 months more
