Q.

My girl baby delivered on July 30 at 33 weeks of gestational age. As she is a preterm baby....should i consider her as a month baby now and can I expect the month milestones as full term babies or will it be delayed?

A. When a child is having a preterm birth sometimes you can see that they can delay the milestones by a month or so then a full term child and that is completely normal so right now your child may reach a milestone by the age of a month extra support by six months we expect a child to have a stable head by the age of seven months walking and happened by the age of 12 months crawling by the age of 10 to 11 months so it’s completely normal
