my friend is 9 months pregnant now a days she is saying her tongue is so tasteless even water is also tasteless so she is not eating well due to this problem how can i help her please give me suggestions to avoid this problem

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Loss of taste or smell needs to be checked and ask her if she is constipated then it might be due to that and ask her to eat a vitamin C rich fruits and have one or two prunes daily and have nimbu paani

Hello mommy Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Take healthy protein rich nutritious food fruits vegetables pulses whole grains milk products Wash hands often before touching your baby Maintain hygiene

Yes I am also 10 weeks pregnant and my tongue has become too tasteless and bitter that I use colgate mouth wash sometimes, also I brush my teeth with sensodyne paste 3 times a day, I use to search good toothpastes that can reform my taste. After eating delicious food too...my tongue behaves like it has eaten something sour.
