my four months old baby girl weight is 5kgs birth weight is 2.48 kg now she have cough and mild fever can u suggest syrups

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most of the time it is viral in the origin need to give symptomfdatic treatment first like stjeam inhalation and some home remedies cough expectorant may be required along with anti allergic medications
