Q.

my fetus femur length is short in my growth scan.my height is also 144 cm.but my growth scan report is normal as well as anomaly scan is normal now I am 33 wks pregnant.now my fetus femur length is 57 cm..so should I worry or what would it indicate?

A. Madam if your doctor is saying that everything is fine then you don’t have to worry about it it’s totally alright because these things are very tricky to help you on but I’m just going to recommend you to consult your doctor again if you haven’t cleared your doubt and they clearly mentioned in the report and what does it mean

Q. #AskTheExpert Hello, in my anomaly scan at 20th week , baby's Femur length (FL) as well as other long bones were under 5th percentile 24.9 mm. Doctor suggested for interval growth scan at 24th week to assess the growth and it was found that there was growth in the long bones but still the percentile was under 5 only. Femur length being 37.3 mm. Can you suggest how to increase the length of baby's bones. Should i be worried about it or the length of bones can increase till delivery time or after baby's birth. Please find the report.
