Q.
My female baby 3 1/2 months old. Giving mother milk only. she is playing well. asking milk one hour once. within that milk not produce for me. If i press also milk won't come and baby is crying. After i take rest only milk flowing. How many hours once shall i give breast feed.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will lleave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

MusfikaMom of a 4 yr old boy3 years agoA. Don't stress yourself out.Try expressing milk using breastpump. Massage gently before pumping and then pump.Pumping might increase your milk supply.Sometimes baby might've not emptied the breast milk so u can pump and empty your milk that might help to make more milk.If nothing seems to work then talk to your pediatrician and ask him to suggest formula!

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. If The child is asking for milk every one hour that means whatever field you are giving is not sufficient for the child it’s very important that you see if you are not giving formula feeding to the child that will be a back up support for you
