A. Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are Baby not taking enough calories Baby is not absgorbing the enough calories which the baby is taking Babyy is burning too many calories . So a proper assessment is very important to know the cause regarding this .

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Baby weight depends on birth weight and normally doubles by the age of six months and triples by the age of one year. Please give soaked and crushed almonds to the baby. Also give semi solid foods like bananas and mashed potatoes, daal paani etc. if baby is active then no need to panic. Thanks and take care
