my doctor suggested indocap sr tablet for which I'm suffering from knee pains and he said not to breastfeed your child how many hours after can I give breastfeed or totally i won't give how many hours the medicine will be in body

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 3 years agoA. Indocap SR capsule contains Indomethacin which passess into breastmilk. Thus, the use of this medicine is not recommended in breastfeeding . if your baby is below 6 months then you should go for regular oil massage handsome mild medications which will help relieve the complaints instead of taking such higher medications

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello some medicine are not safe while you are breast-feeding the baby and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
