Q.

My daughter will be 5 months in 6 days. she had diarrhoea almost 20 days back, we did homeopathy, her frequency of stool got controlled ( once / twice in 2 days). but she still has watery stool with white solids in it. She is exclusively breastfed.

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydrathhfion is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
