A. If your daughter vomited after drinking milk, here are some possible reasons and what you can do: Possible Causes & What to Do: 1️⃣ Milk Intolerance or Sensitivity Some children have lactose intolerance or difficulty digesting milk. If she often vomits after drinking milk, she might have a milk allergy or sensitivity. ✅ What to Do? ✔️ Try lactose-free milk or plant-based alternatives (like almond or oat milk). ✔️ Observe if she has stomach pain, bloating, or diarrhea after milk. ✔️ Consult a doctor if vomiting happens repeatedly. 2️⃣ Drinking Too Fast or Too Much If she drank milk too quickly, it could have upset her stomach. Drinking too much at once can also cause vomiting. ✅ What to Do? ✔️ Offer smaller amounts of milk slowly. ✔️ Ensure she sits properly while drinking. 3️⃣ Indigestion or Infection If she already had a full stomach, milk might have triggered vomiting. Viral or bacterial infections (like stomach flu) can cause vomiting. ✅ What to Do? ✔️ Wait for 30 minutes before giving water to prevent more vomiting. ✔️ Offer light foods (rice, toast, banana) if she feels better. ✔️ If vomiting continues, see a doctor. 4️⃣ Dairy Allergy (If She’s Vomiting Every Time After Milk) If vomiting happens regularly after milk, she may have a dairy allergy. Symptoms include rash, diarrhea, bloating, or breathing issues. ✅ What to Do? ✔️ Try removing milk for a few days and see if symptoms stop. ✔️ Talk to a pediatrician about an allergy test. 🚨 When to See a Doctor? ❌ Vomiting continues multiple times or lasts more than 24 hours. ❌ Signs of dehydration (dry lips, no tears, low urine output). ❌ Vomit has blood or greenish color. ❌ She has a fever or severe stomach pain.
