Q.

My daughter was born on November 28th. The head is not yet firm. He holds his head up while lying on his back. But the head is not firm. When does the head become steady? Do we have to do anything for it?

A. head holding and neck holding should be present by this age and if it is not proper then physical examination as well as milestones assessment and developmental assessment of the child needs to be done by the doctor

A. hello usually by 3-5 months baby head can get stiff and it is normal to have some delay which is not a problem and any concern the it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
