my daughter was born on 13th Jan 2025 with 2.9kg on birth now after 10 days the weight is reduced to 2.55kg.past 3 days We could observe good development in breastfeeding.she urinates 5 to 7 times ,poops thrice a day. we are worried about the weight loss.is it normal or what should we do to increase to healthy weight

A. What you saw is very normal kids suffer with jaundice and initially the feeding is not very good for losing up to 500 g in a week of birth is very normal but now if your child is feeding well gaining well then don’t worry about if your child gain 500 g in a month then that is good enough
