Q.

my daughter was born 2.5kg. after 1 month and 15 days her weight was 3.2 kg. then after 1 month it was 4.1 kg. again after 1 month it was 5.2 kg. now she is 5 months old and her weight is 5.8 kg. previous month's her weight gain was approximately 800gm-1kg. but last one month it was only 500 grams. she is taking breastmilk as usual. but her weight gain this month is less than the previous months. is it ok? any cause of concern?

A. There is nothing to be concerned about. As during 5 months, the baby should have weight of at least 4 to 5 kg. Burp properly after each and every feed for atleast 10 min or till baby take 4 burp  Feed ur baby as per baby's demand only  Don't overfeed ur baby  Keep a watch on urine output  Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day

A. Hello dear parent! Your baby is doing absolutely fine. Baby should be doubling its birth weight by six months. Continue to exclusively breastfeed a baby well and demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil
