Q.

My Daughter, Umaima is 8 months old and weighs 6.1 kgs as of now. She hasn’t been putting on weight since around two to three months. Everything’s going on fine, and she doesn’t even fall sick often. We’ve started solid foods since more than two months ago. Although she’s a very active baby who’s crawling around the house all day long, I still am very concerned as to why she isn’t gaining weight.

A. If she or he is gaining weight and no other symptoms then no need to worry about it, please keep changing the food , flavour , texture and the consistency of food, add ghee in her food.

A. Hello dear parent! It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year completion. Give your baby 3 meals and water along with daily breastfeeding. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
