my daughter saanvi nag 10 months old she has cold and cough.symptoms is runny nose,watery eyes,sneezing and having a cough .my docter give me the medicine which photo i send you .now i want to know can i give this medicine and how many time and how much drops i give my child .her weight is 8 kg.due to some resons i can not take my child to doctor.pls help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symp kgtoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
