my daughter's toe nail got completely detached from the skin... I had to cut it..will that grow back.. what can be the reason....thrs no blood also no pain

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. Unless the cuticle of a fingernail is destroyed, the nail will grow back. Regrowth takes 4-6 weeks. Place any dangling part of the nail back on a clean nail bed and apply a bandage. The new nail will grow underneath the old nail and lift it up.
