Q.

My daughter Mahum age 9 years+ has white patches on her hands n legs..like shaded light n dark skin..is that calcium deficiency??... kindly recommend

A. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.d some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

A. There are four def four things associated associated with this for fungal infection dryness and apart from that it could be due to skin related tissues and calcium deficiencies of the patches are more it’s better that you consult your doctor one time
