Q.
my daughter is12 months old from certain days she was having running nose yesterday she was quite good and I gave her head and body bath today from morning she is having fever her temperature is 98.4 and I am giving her dolo and koferest pd drops.. how to reduce this fever from onwards no reduce of temperature and she is cranky also

ExpertDr. Gunjan BawejaPaediatrician2 years agoA. hello best is ti give syp paracetamol to the baby when ever fever is there and can repeat it after 6 hours if needed. ans give plenty of fluids to the baby fir the same.

Hi...98.4 is not fever i guess....also consult your pediatrician first....if you want you can try some home remedies for cold and cough as i do for my 11 month old baby....u can try tulsi and Kali mirch kadha..boil it and give 1 spoon thrice a day....also you can use nutmeg(jaiphal)...you can make a paste and rub on baby's chest , hands and foot overnight

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Do not cover your baby with too many clothes. Keep giving sips of water to reduce the discomfort. Give next dose of paracetamol drops after 5 to 6 hours. Keep Babyhug medicine dropper handy
