Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. this type of of legs is totally normal. no treatment is required except proper diet. kindly continue vitamin d supplements if you are not taking the child in sunlight.x if proper diet is being given then there is no need to worry about any calcium supplement. the curved legs/ bend legs usually take a normal shape by two years to three years of age. if in doubt then meet the doctor.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. Physiologic bow legs does not need treatment. It usually corrects itself as the child grows. A child with Blount disease may need a brace or surgery. Rickets usually is treated by adding vitamin D and calcium to the diet.
