Q.

My daughter is suffering from severe cough since last 1 month.. doc has prescribed inhaler budacord again 4 times nebulisation but she is not fully recovering… I am puzzled what to do

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine whichg should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor accfdording to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. hello actually cough doesn't go very easily even we have gone through for our kids like nebulization is a must at least minimum for one week to 10 days and it takes quite aong time along with the medication of the doctor prescription at home also you have to use hot water give some homemade remedies avoid giving milk if you are giving milk add a pinch of turmeric and pepper in IT boil well and give
