A. If child is gaining weight, restrict intake of sugar, rice, potato, fried and packaged foods. Give fiber and protein rich foods like oats with nuts, dry fruits, beans, broccoli, peas, carrot, fresh fruit juices, fruit slices with peel, etc. alongwith plenty of fluids. Engage her in physical activities like jumping, running, climbing, cycling, swimming and other outdoor games. Limit screen time.
