A. It’s normal for a 4.8-year-old to have phases of poor eating, but if it continues for weeks or affects her energy, growth, or overall health, it’s best to consult a doctor. Try offering a variety of healthy foods without pressure, stick to regular meal times, and avoid distractions like screens during meals. If she’s losing weight, falling sick often, or avoiding entire food groups, a pediatric check-up is recommended.

A. Hello my dear parent! The child shall be physically active and feel hungry before the next meal. Loss of appetite can often indicate vitamin and nutritional deficiencies. Get in touch with your paediatrician in this matter. Good luck and take care.
