Q.
my daughter is not taking any medicine, everytime she is rejecting it, wheather it's for fever or cough/cold in couldnt able to give her for the last 3 months, what should I do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you can mix the medicine and food and give it to the child otherwise you can ask your paediatrician to change the flavour of the medicine that has been prescribed

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a profper evaluation hyby the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
