Make mealtimes a fun family experience without any distractions like TV, mobile phones, laptop, tablet etc. The family should eat together so that the kid learns good healthy eating habits from parents and siblings after watching them enjoy home cooked meals. Offer colourful foods in colourful plates or bowls. Try cutting foods into different shapes using food cutters to attract the attention of the kid. Praise the kid even if she manages to finish only a small part of her meal. Make her a part of meal preparations such as let her help in setting up the table before mealtime or let her choose the vegetable to be cooked. Offer her favourites along with new food that you want to introduce in her diet. Keep offering the same food 10-15 times. Do not give up. Persistence is the key.
