Q.
My daughter is having cough since 8 days.. along with blocked nose..no other discomfort...I'm giving medicine prescribed by doctor...also upon asking about deworming he gave zentel..but can I give zentel when she is on other medication

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. nasal blockage can be relieved by using nasal saline drops like nasoclear saline drops in the nose followed by nasal aspirator to take out the secretions very gently
steam inhalation can also be helpful in this conditionCough in a child could be allergic , infective or due to some other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication .xe
Primarily you can give steam inhalation to the child for the improvement before consulting your doctor.
