Q.

My daughter is almost 4 month old and she has been loose watery stools for the past month. As per the doctor's advice, she has been given Taxim O syrup. For the past 2 days, the watery feeling has largely disappeared. Is there anything to worry about?Another thing is how many times and what type of bowel movements is normal for a child of this age in 24 hours?

A. hey .. is your child on breastfeed and how many stools he is passing in a day. does it happen during every feed from one month. I have been facing a similar issue for 4 weeks. Tried many doctors but no relief yet. kindly reply that would be of great help

A. Did you get a stool test done for your child before you start giving antibiotics because usually either stomach infection or teeth coming can be the reason if your child is not a relief I would recommend you to please conduct a test for your child
