Q.

My daughter is 9months old. Recently we shaved her hair and did eat stud too. The next day there was this very small lymph node that I see behind her ear. It’s 3 days now looks like it’s had become small but still there. It’s movable but I’m worried.

A. Lumps behind the ear can have many possible causes, including problems in the skin or bone. Swollen lymph nodes, infections, can also lead to lumps. Most cases of a lump behind the ear do not present a cause for concern, however, and normally resolve without treatment.
