my daughter is 9month old she is having cough & fever. My doctor advice to give mc berry cough syrup 2.5ml Thrice a day with calpol 100mg. is it right treatment for her. as she is having more cough sound when breath.

you can go for home remedies like tulsi ginger combination which can be diluted with water and given frequently to the child.
also you can give turmeric with milk one or two times everyday. give warm water to drink as well as nasal saline drops frequently.
avoid giving cold water and cold food or ice cream.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child that is from hot to cold and cold to hot environment
