A. hello and good morning Try to feed with finger food items under supervision. Make different menu and do not force feed. Try to give fresh curd home made paneer and buttermilk will act like appetizer.

A. If the baby isn’t comfortable eating solid food, try adding some smashed vegetables like, sweet potato, carrot, potato & fruits purées to their meals; the baby will gradually start eating.

A. Some common reasons include: Normal developmental phase: Babies may naturally eat less for a few days or weeks. Teething: Sore gums can make chewing uncomfortable. Still relying on milk: Too much breast milk or formula before meals can reduce hunger for solids. Preference for certain textures: Some babies need time to accept lumpy or textured foods. Distractions during feeding: Playing, screens, or a noisy environment can reduce interest in eating. Recent illness: Colds, fever, ear infections, or stomach illnesses can temporarily decrease appetite. Constipation: A baby who is constipated may eat less. Food aversion: Pressure to eat or force-feeding can make babies resist solids. Iron deficiency: Low iron levels can sometimes reduce appetite and energy. Less commonly, medical conditions: Problems with swallowing, food allergies, reflux, or developmental issues may affect feeding. What you can do Offer solids 2–3 times a day, with healthy snacks if appropriate. Give solids before milk feeds or allow a gap of about 1–2 hours after milk. Offer soft finger foods (banana, steamed vegetables, well-cooked egg if already introduced, soft fruits, idli, khichdi, mashed vegetables). Let the baby self-feed when possible. Keep mealtimes relaxed and limit them to about 20–30 minutes. Avoid forcing or distracting the baby to eat. Continue breastfeeding or formula, as milk is still an important part of nutrition at 9 months.

A. If you are okay with it you can add some salt and spices into the food which will help in enhancing the flavour of the food that you are giving also you can introduce family food to the child which would be a good option for you to gift to the child and your child to enjoy the food that you give
