A. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it das fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. after giving feverx medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere

A. For a 9-month-old baby with a throat infection, here are some gentle home remedies that may help: 1. **Offer Fluids:** Ensure your baby stays hydrated with breast milk or formula. If your baby is older and eating solids, offer water or diluted fruit juices. 2. **Use a Humidifier:** Moist air can help soothe the throat. Use a cool-mist humidifier in the baby's room, especially during naps and bedtime. 3. **Steamy Bath:** A warm, steamy bath can also help ease congestion and soothe the throat. Sit with your baby in the bathroom for a few minutes while running a hot shower. 4. **Elevate Head During Sleep:** Elevating the head of the crib slightly using a pillow or towel under the mattress can ease breathing and reduce coughing during sleep. 5. **Gentle Massage:** Lightly massaging your baby's neck and throat area can help with discomfort. 6. **Offer Soothing Foods:** If your baby is eating solids, offer cool or lukewarm foods like yogurt, mashed fruits, or smooth baby cereals. Avoid spicy or acidic foods. 7. **Warm Liquids:** For babies older than 6 months, warm liquids like herbal teas (chamomile or fennel, if approved by your pediatrician), warm water with honey (only for babies over 1 year), or warm chicken broth can be soothing. Always consult your pediatrician before trying any new remedies, especially for babies under 1 year old. If your baby's symptoms worsen or if they have difficulty breathing, seek medical attention immediately.
