Q.

My daughter is 7 weeks old and she got vaccination today and now she is getting fever 100.1 F. I had given her medication 4 hrs ago but fever is not getting down. She is 34 weeks premature born baby. What should I do now. Should I repeat the medicine and how much dose

A. How much dose can be given. I have Pacimol 100mg/ml. My baby's weight is around 3.5 kg( not exactly sure ).

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 tximes per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues bxeyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
