Q.

My daughter is 6month old. She is now suffering from HFM virus and also having blisters in mouth. Doctor recommended her to eat cold food. So can i give her tomato/apple pure after putting the pure in freeze?

A. yes can give hand and foot and mouth disease is a self limiting viral infection. commonly seen is viral red eruptions on the skin mainly on the joints of the body and on the bums and around the mouth and there are ulcers in the oral cavity. only symptoms treatment is given for fever as well as for pain and itching and oral ulcers and the disease usually resolves maximum by 1 to 1 and half weeks. meet your doctor for more information regarding this disease

A. Hello dear parent, for hand foot mouth problem. I would suggest to yu to apply calamine lotion on the affected areas so that bahy does not scratch much. . And ado give appropriate medicine as per baby's symptoms. Do not worry much baby will be alright. Good luck and take care
