Mom of a 6 yr 2 m old girl2 weeks ago
Q.

My daughter is 6 years old. Sometimes she gets palpitations when she is not doing any activity while watching TV we even checked with the pediatric cardiologist and did the ECG and Echo test. The doctor did a thorough check and she said everything is normal no need to worry. But sometimes she gets palpitation or when she even runs little her heart beats increase. My daughter doesn't have much physical activity as there are no kids to play near our home. what could be the reason.

A. It could be associated with exertion also and sometimes when we are watching something with leaves and impact on us that can also lead to palpitation sometimes but since you’ve got all the necessary testing done for your child everything seems to be normal so I don’t see any reason to be worried but yes you can always get it examined if the child gets it because of exertion sometimes stress or anxiety also this can happen
