Q.
my daughter is 6 year old.she is my single child so I m very much concern about her.she is very weak Lin nd thin. Every month she fall ill with fvr cough nd cold and she is having gas problem. Her immunity power is very low.kindly Dr suggest me what to do.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracethfamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can h be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
