Q.
my daughter is 6 months old and from 2 days she didn't do potty , today morning we noticed that her anus is opened and poop is struck inside anus due to hard, she is trying to push but poop isn't come out, kindly please suggest me what can i do, can i give ducolex suppository to baby, but in Google it is shown that this medicine is not for below 4 years of baby?? please help me

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. whenever you introduce food for the child and it is causing constipation you have to stop that particular food which is causing such problems and try to give food which is more rich in fibre and has got plenty of fluids.
it is important to add papaya in the diet which will help in decreasing this problem d
and also at the same time see that you are not giving any new outside milk which is again known to cause constipation
Medicine dis to be given only if constructed by the doctor after examination.
if needed the doctor will give polyethylene glycol which is the first line of medicine for constipation
