Q.

my daughter is 6 month 15 days old. she is hyper active and achieved all her milestone. but her weight is not increasing. now she is only 5.7 kg. her birth weight was 2.8. my pediatrician said to start formula and start other food. even after all this her weight isn't increasing. please help me. I'm worried a lot

A. it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and by that pattern only the weight gain in child is seen. it also depends upon the diet the child is taking. so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplemments. the child should be given different flavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount. you can add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child. you can go through many recipes for children in different flavour and taste for your child on firstcry
