Q.

My daughter is 5year old..few months back she complains about stomach pain but she eats,plays well and weighted around 18kgs,when ever i asked her do you still have that pain she answered ‘yes a little bit’always,and then carry on playing or her activity normally..her stool is sometimes hard too should i be concern?

A. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently. There could be many reasons for this .it can be functional or dhue to some pathhology which needs to be ruled out. Common causes are constipation gaseous discomfort worm infestation gastritis gastroenteritis or some chronic infection . Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach pain and consult your doctor for proper examintation to rule out the cause .

A. See the weight gain of the child is absolutely good as of now further more if the child is having problem in the stomach or constantly complaining of pain then it is going to be good for you to get a check up done with your doctors with that only you can rather be more sure about the problem and how do you need to deal with it
