my daughter is 5 yrs 8 month old,she had night coughing problem from few months, doctor said allergy problem,what can I do

A. Take an Expectorant. Over-the-counter (OTC) expectorants (such as Mucinex or Robitussin 12 Hour Cough & Mucus Relief) contain guaifenesin, which thins respiratory secretions in your airways. This can help you cough up excessive mucus more effectively and breathe easier.
