Q.
My daughter is 5 months plus. she has caught a cold. she is coughing while sleeping and she wakes up. she also has running noses. what shall I do?

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very ushseful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello you can put nasal drops and also use instant cold releif rub from Babyhug which is helpful and in regards to the medication it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
