my daughter is 5+month she is having cough & throat congestion please tell me any medicine.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cougiuh.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

first ,I advise to offer plenty of breastfeeds.
it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against such Infection and it also helps to keep your child well hydrated.
Apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child
give indirect steam.
