Hii my baby having throat congestion and having cough pls advise some medicin ..? Baby is 20 months old

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful. For cold give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice dzaily to the child. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations . If fever is present give paracetamol. z

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl1 Year agoA. Maxtra you can give as of now this is a basic energy that you can offer apart from that you can also nebulise the child of the child is having more of a congestion and is required please feel free to consult a doctor for further assistance
