Q.

My daughter is 5.5 yrs old n her weight is 14 kg. is her weight appropriate according to her age? if not what could be done to increase her weight?

A. the expected weight is around the 16 to 18 kg and it is advisable that a new high protein diet and include eggs and non-vegetarian food pulses fruits in the diet on a daily basis

A. hi little bit less but no need to worry give high calorie food items to your child. for example dairy products (paneer , curd, ghee, milk) nuts (almond, cashew,fig ,pista ) seeds (pumpkin seeds , sunflower seeds, flax seeds ) fruits (apple , banana, papaya, avacado) etc
