Q.
My daughter is 5.5 months old and on EBF . Her birth weight was 3.8 kg . And currently she is 6.4 kg. Is the weight right for her age or should I be concerned. I have noticed that her weight has not been increased for the past 2 weeks . It’s at the same level. I was told that by 6 months she should double her weight. What shall be done ?

Neelam sharmaMom of a 15 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. hello dear yes you have heard correct at the age of baby's weight should be double and till one year it should be triple to her birth weight.
but your baby is gaining weight correctly do not worry much about that, if she is less active or urinate less than 7 then do consult with your pediatrician regarding this once
