Q.

My daughter is 46 days old . During 3 rd week 2 times she passed white stool. So we took stool test and confirmed it be bacteria so we took taxim o . Last week we Took stool report again. It shows ecoli and mucous .she is doing adequate weight gains ,active and there is no other symptoms. Now the culture test shows ecoli resistant to Ceftraxione and doctor advised for Amikacin IV. Should we need to give Amikacin since there is no other symptoms except for mucous in stool

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and please evaluate once with your child doctor in person and evaluate the report. and also follow the prescribed medications after that and please do not take any medications without doctor prescribed prescription. take care
