my daughter is 4 month old she has developed white patches around backside of her neck area. what is the cause and remedies for this problem

A. many times white spots can occur in children at multiple sites on body but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application (atogla / sebamed ) or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away. if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation. some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infezction, worms infestation also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream. give plenty of water to drink.
