A. If your 3-year-old daughter does not drink milk, don’t worry! You can give her other calcium-rich alternatives to ensure proper growth and bone health. Milk Alternatives & Calcium Sources Dairy-Based Alternatives: Curd/Yogurt – Offer flavored or fruit-mixed yogurt. Cheese & Paneer – Add to parathas, sandwiches, or pasta. Homemade Milkshakes & Smoothies – Blend milk with banana, dates, or cocoa. Non-Dairy Calcium Sources: Ragi (Finger Millet) – Make porridge or dosa. Almonds & Sesame Seeds – Add in laddoos or mix with food. Green Leafy Vegetables – Spinach, broccoli, and methi. Tofu & Chickpeas – Include in daily meals. Fun Ways to Include Milk: Make Kheer, Custard, or Halwa – Tasty and nutritious. Use Milk in Chapati Dough – Adds nutrition without direct drinking. Homemade Ice Cream or Popsicles – Made with fruit and milk. If she completely refuses milk, just ensure her diet has enough calcium, protein, and vitamin D from other sources.
