Q.

My daughter is 3 weeks old. I am direct breastfeeding but not sure if it’s enough for her. Most of the time I feed her she will sleep in 10 mins while feeding and once put to sleep she wakes up in 10 15 mins hungry ( frantically crying, putting hand in her mouth and searching for food) What should I do

A. Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supplements may be helpful like shatavari . Alsfyo try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which may be the culprit for lactational failure most of the tifme .

A. Initially it is a very common scenario to be seen with kids when they are not sufficiently full they can wake up every 10 to 15 minutes or maybe an hour or so to take a feed so that’s alright try try to understand whether your child is actually hungry only crying because of stomach pain and that is also one reason with you you can see this kind of a problem approaching
