Q.
my daughter is 2and half yerrs old.the problem is she often coughs especially after dinner.sometimes this cough leads to vomiting and throw up food with mucus can I know the reason for it

Author of questionMom of a 6 yr 4 m old girl3 years agoA. Yes sir but she doesn't have fever or either cold. only cought that to twice or thrice in a week. my doctor gave here medication and said normal.but it is occurring again nad again I'm worried baout it.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.fe
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
