Q.
My daughter is 23 months old now... but she don't speaks word.. mumma and dada.....we try to teach her but she is least interested....when will she able to speak

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. this is normal.for kid .Language is a long process to become good . Initially kids only say some meaning less words . You should talk more with baby and decrease screen time specially mobile screen . Also help of any speech therapist can be taken .

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the c hehild so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
